That's a wrap!!!

Months of shooting, scheduling conflicts, editing and just plain hard work, is over! Although there will likely be a few small tweaks, the film is finally complete and on it's way to the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. A BIG thanks to all those who made this possible.

Sunday was very windy, but we made some great progress! Thank you, again, to all who helped fill the stands! You made it look a lot warmer than it was. =)

The Latest News

Well, folks, editing is coming along as I type. We have a rough cut of all that we have filmed so far (meaning we still need to finalize audio, and do some color correction). But, as far as filming goes, we only need to get a few more softball scenes.

Here are a few photos from a scene we filmed at our local Dairy Queen (that was already closed for the season) when it was about 46° outside! In fact, the ice cream we had everyone eating was melting because it was not quite freezing out. But, thanks to our actors and extras it really did look like a 73° night!

After much prayer and looking for an actor to play the main character, Jason, the Lord opened up the door to have Brian Hartley take the part. When director, Caleb Vetter, contacted him through christianactors.com Brian expressed interest and they were able to meet for an audition Tuesday, just two days before our first shoot! With the help of Rick Schwinn and some of the Western Extralite team, plus some welcome extras, we were able to have a successful shoot.
